My Logbook
Don't forget what you do at work. Note what you get, what you contribute and what wears you down, with dates and evidence — so it's all in one document before your performance review.
The hardest moment in a pay or promotion conversation is trying to remember what you did a year ago. My Logbook takes that moment away.
First things first
This logbook is yours alone.
Your manager can't see it
This isn't employer software. You buy the logbook, not your company. Neither other members nor our administrators can see your records — not as a promise, but by the database's own rules.
It doesn't go to AI
Your meeting note is produced by rules; none of your sentences are sent to an AI provider. The document shows what you wrote, not a “polished” text.
No sharing feature
When you export, the file downloads straight to your device. It isn't sent to anyone and no link is created. You decide whom to share it with.
Four headings
You're not writing on a blank page, but within a framework.
The headings aren't arbitrary: they come from the literature on the employee value proposition, organisational citizenship behaviour and organisational justice. So the question “where do I put this?” always has the same answer.
What the company gives me
What did you get from this job? Learning and responsibility, culture and flexibility, pay and benefits, and the recognition you received.
- Professional benefit
- Social benefit
- Financial benefit
- Recognition
What I give the company
Your real bargaining chip in the review. Process improvement, digitisation, new ideas — and the one that's never written down but matters most: your contribution to the team and to people.
- Process improvement
- Digitisation
- New ideas and projects
- Contribution to the team and people
What wears me down
Unfairness isn't just one thing. Unmet requests, being ignored, unfair distribution, disrespect, not being informed, being left out of decisions — all six are kept separately.
- My unmet requests
- Being ignored
- Unfair distribution
- Disrespect
- Not being informed
- Being left out of decisions
My plan for the next period
Your answer to the “so what's next?” question in the review. What you'll ask for, what you'll develop, which steps you'll take.
- What I'll ask for
- What I'll develop
- Concrete steps I'll take
Review day
A year of entries becomes a one-page case.
Choose the period
The last 3 months, the last 6 months, this year or all time. The document states the period it covers at the top.
Mark what to raise first
At most three entries per heading. The limit is deliberately tight: the number of things you can cover in one meeting is tight too.
See your pay/promotion case
Achievement · impact · measurable value, in one table. This is where you raise pay.
Download
PDF or Markdown. Exactly what's on screen, as it is — the file downloads straight to you.
For the bad days
The incident record
When you write about something that wore you down, the logbook asks a few extra things: what time it was, where you were, who was there, whom you told and what answer you got. None of them is required.
It asks because a logbook doesn't prove anything on its own — and we don't claim otherwise. But it can remind you where the real evidence is: which email, who saw it, whom you reported it to. The date of the incident and the date you wrote the entry appear separately in the document.
This isn't legal advice. If you're considering legal action, resignation or a complaint, talk to a lawyer.
Time and place
“3rd-floor meeting room”, “Teams”, “open-plan office, in front of everyone”.
Who was there
A name and role are enough. We don't ask for phone numbers, emails or addresses — and we won't.
Whom I reported it to
Your manager, HR, a union, ALO 170, CİMER. The real evidence is often there.
What happened next
If there was no answer, write that down too. No answer is a fact as well.
Easy to write today, hard to remember a year from now.
